Policies

The following are the policies and procedures for transactions between Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. and it’s customers.

Terms: Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. will provide an open line of credit with payment terms of Net 30 to accounts that remain in good standing. For new accounts please fill out our Credit Application Credit Application For any account that does not remain in good standing, this includes but is not limited to companies that file or are currently under chapter 11, will be changed to a COD or prepay account. COD accounts must maintain a valid UPS or FedEx account number on file for freight to be billed to. All shipments will be shipped out COD, freight collect until the company is out of chapter 11 or upon the decision of Custom Drilling Technologies Inc.. Orders shipped via COD will be shipped as unsecured payment method unless advised otherwise. Any company on prepay terms must issue monies via check or wire transfer before any items are shipped. The order will be shipped via freight collect or freight added to the total of the order, this will be at the discretion of Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. and will be advised at the time of placing the order.

Orders: Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. accepts order via phone, fax, email, and online store. Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. reserves the right to refuse any order and will advise if so at the time the order is placed.

Payment: Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. accepts company checks, personal checks, money orders, bank checks, and wire transfers. If a check is returned by our bank for insufficient funds a new check for the original amount plus an additional charge of $50.00 must be be sent before any other items are shipped. If a second check is returned the account will be changed to a COD or prepay account, this discretion will be made by Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. and conveyed to the customer and the payment of the second check will be by bank check only and will include an additional $50.00 fee.

Returns: Returns will be accepted by Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. provided the following: The item is in it’s original, new condition, including but not limited to any packaging. The item is being returned within 60 calendar days of the original shipment of the item. The item was not a custom item for that customer. The item was not ordered special for that customer. The item was not a final sale item.And the item is still a valid part, no out of date or inactive items. A restocking charge of 15% to 25% will be charged depending on the circumstances of the return and the customer will be notified of the charge before the item is shipped back. Any additional charges imposed by vendors for items that are being sent back to the factory will be charged and the customer will be notified before the item is returned. If after receipt of the item Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. deems that the item was used, damaged or is not the item said to be returned we will notify the customer and give the options at that point including but not limited to refusal and return of the item to the customer at the customers expense. Note: A return authorization number must be requested before any item is shipped back to Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. or the original vendor. If an authorization number is not requested and an item is returned, the item may be refused by the receiving department. Return authorization numbers must be clearly marked on the outside of the package the item is in. A credit will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the returned item if the above requirements are fulfilled.To request authorization to return an item you can call our customer service department or fill out our Return Form. All items being returned must be received back within 30 calendar days from the original date of authorization number issuance.

Warranty: Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. offers a 30 calendar days from invoice warranty on all parts unless specified at time of purchase. Spindles carry a 30 calendar day from installation or 90 calendar day from invoice warranty, which ever is shorter. Machines are warranted for parts only, 30 calendar days, from shipment or installation by Custom Drilling Technologies Inc., which ever is shorter. To request authorization to return an item you can call our customer service department or fill out our Warranty Form. All items being returned must be received back within 7 calendar days from the original date of authorization number issuance or receipt of the replacement item, which ever is longer. Upon receipt of the item it will be tested and inspected. If the item is deemed functioning or has been tampered with no credit will be issued and the customer will be notified otherwise a credit will be issued within 30 calendar days from the date the item was received back.

Pricing: Calls, faxes, and email will be accepted for pricing inquiries. Pricing is subject to change and current pricing will be charged at the time an order is placed. All pricing via phone, fax, or email order will be acknowledged and order will be pending approval from customer of any price changes. If an order is placed by fax or email without pricing listed, current pricing will be used and an acknowledgement will be sent, but the order will not be pending and will ship as soon as possible. Orders placed through our online store will be charged the price on the site at the time the order is placed. Formal quote requests are accepted by phone, fax or email, pricing on formal quotes are sent by fax or email only and are good for 30 calendar days from date of quote. Quote number must be mentioned when placing an order from a quote. Pricing is at the sole discretion of Custom Drilling Technologies Inc..

Service: Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. offers on site and technical service at a rate of $110.00 per hour for standard labor and travel, $165.00 per hour for extended hours and $220.00 per hour for special hours, billed in 30 min. increments. Standard rate is for normal business hours of Custom Drilling Technologies Inc., Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, non-holiday. Extended rate is for before or after normal business hours and Saturdays. Special rate is for Holiday and Sunday service. Hours are billable while the tech is in route to and from customers location and while the tech is on site at the customers location. Special flat rates are offered for extended stay service, installations etc.. Free technical help is available by phone during regular business hours of Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. to help trouble shoot problems, parts selection decisions and more. Any company found to be abusing the free phone tech. help will be asked to provide Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. with a blanket purchase order for phone help and will be billed at a rate of $60.00 per hour, billed in 15 min. increments.

Repairs: Items that you would like Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. to repair, (monitory, boards, etc.) please call Customer Service for information. In most cases Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. will sell rebuilt parts and give a core for old parts instead of repair in the form of a credit memo. If a rebuilt item is not available or is not offered an item may be sent in for evaluation for repair at the discretion of Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. and will have a minimum billing of one (1) hour labor at $110.00. If the item can be repaired during the evaluation, (simple fixes) billing will be for the one hour labor plus parts. If at the time of evaluation the repairs are not simple fixes the customer will be advised as to the estimated time and cost of the repairs. If the customer decides not to have the item repaired, the item will be returned and an invoice for the one hour labor charge will be issued or the item may be kept by Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. in lieu of the one hour charge if agreed upon by both the customer and Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. Any item being sent for repair evaluation must first request a return authorization number and that number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. To request authorization to return an item for repair you can call our customer service department or fill out our online request for repair evaluation form.

Cores: Some items have a “core” value. Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. will pay, in the form of a credit memo, for old item that have a core value. To receive a core on an item, an order for a new/rebuilt item must be places. A request for core must be done at the time the order is placed. A return authorization number will be given at the time of the order placement if a core is requested. The return number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package and the item must be received by Custom Drilling Technologies Inc. no later then 14 calendar days after the purchased item has been received by the customer.
